Data Thistle is a listings technology business that provides the UK’s largest set of live events data. With 35 years of experience and knowledge under our belts, we’ve launched an exciting new brand which provides a space where data meets entertainment, and we’d like to introduce ourselves.
Who are Data Thistle?
Data Thistle automatically collects listings from thousands of venues across the UK as well as public submissions through our form. They are collated into easy-to-use formats so that they’re ready for use across multiple industries and we’ve been collecting live events information since 1985 and have amassed millions of unique users per month to distribute listings to.
These events are published on datathistle.com — the ultimate guide to entertainment in the UK, listing live events data including music, sport, food and drink, theatre, art, workshops, talks, comedy, and everything in between. Large or small, we know a thing or two about what’s going on.
Who do Data Thistle work with?
Our partners come from a variety of industries and sectors, such as destination marketing organisations, transport companies, media companies and hotels.

What do Data Thistle do?
The short answer is: a lot. With our developers working closely alongside our content and sales teams, we can provide access to data through our API, build bespoke feeds based on specific requirements, set up email alerts, create dashboards, calendars and more.
