The Edinburgh Festival is upon us!
It’s that time of year again!
The Edinburgh Festival for 2022 has begun, and the streets are already buzzing with anticipation. Data Thistle’s offices are right in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile, so we’ve been seeing the excitement grow along with the rest of the city over the last few weeks. It’s going to get busy out there folks, so make sure you’re prepared for everything the next few weeks has to offer!
After a rough couple of years with the pandemic putting a damper on things, it’s great to see the Edinburgh Festival coming out swinging for 2022. We’ve been listing the Festival’s events for many years now so we are so excited to see the amount of events up and running this year. To fully understand culture, it’s so important to experience it, and the Festival’s 75th year is sure to be a huge celebration that we can’t wait to be a part of. The Edinburgh Festival is just a small selection of the live events that we at Data Thistle promote, and every year we’re gaining a better understanding of how cultural data affects our day to day. We’re expecting huge crowds for a whole host of events across the next few weeks, with everything you’d expect from the Fringe and Free Fringe, plus incredible music, dance and film at the Edinburgh International Festival, something for everyone at the International Book Festival, and a stunning display at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
