Filled with double entendres, wit, and slapstick, pantomimes are quintessentially British. Dating back to the 18th century in the UK, Pantomimes are a well-established Christmas custom that brings all the family together on a cold winter’s eve!
This year’s Christmas pantomimes range from takes on the Grimm brothers Cinderella to Disney’s Aladdin. We’ve picked out a few of these across the UK so you don’t have to do the digging.
Give the kids the chance to see all their favourite characters live, whilst you can see some of your favourite on screen actors dressed up as Robin Hood or Cinderella — truly a laugh for all! This year’s line-up features the likes of Dawn French, Julian Clary, John Bishop and Ian McKellen. These well-known names are destined to bring some Christmas cheer!
